Who doesn't like DQ!? Seriously, there's got to be something wrong with you if you can't appreciate the creamy deliciousness of their vanilla soft serve. Cherry dipped cones, OMG. I would eat that hard shell deliciousness on the daily if possible. Also, frozen hot chocolates are amazing.. The lemon lime "artic rush" (fka Mr. Misty): So refreshing and perfect for summer time!! I have to give DQ credit as well for the introduction of the mini blizzards, perfect little portion to indulge in without feeling awful about consuming it. Banana split and chocolate covered strawberry are a couple of my fave selections. This parking lot is a little bit of a zoo at times, the line can get backed up out to the street. Also, it's really steep pulling in so watch it if you drive a sporty ride. Lastly, this location is nice bc they offer all the Orange Julius selections, so there are fruit smoothies galore!

Called beforehand to see if this was a dairy queen that served dinner, this was after 9 pm. I arrive twenty minutes later and am told that the grille closes at 9 pm, while the store stays open till 10 pm. Not a complete deal breaker, but the pina colada smoothie I ordered tasted like seaweed and old lettuce. May need to look into the problem there DQ. Overall, will pick a different Dairy Queen next time. I know the people working here want to go home by 930, but they still need to make an effort.

I stopped into Dairy Queen this week for lunch. I ordered the $5 Burger lunch special. For $5 you get a 1/4 pound burger with cheese, Fries, drink and a sundae of your choice. It took a little longer than I would like and I had to pull over to the side while they cooked it but it was well worth the wait. The burger came with lettuce, tomato and onion and all were very fresh as was the bun. It came with a small order of fries and a relatively good size drink. It was a lot of food for the money but the quality makes it a great value. Without the sundae it would still be well worth the money.

LOVE Dairy Queen! I fondly remember strawberry sundaes, twist cones, peanut butter cup blizzards, oreo blizzards... the list goes on. A classic.

Went there tonight with the family. We frequent this DQ as it is clean, friendly and good food. I had the Chili Cheese dogs, and a drink. Other members of the family had the shrimp, a hot dog and the pork tenderloin. Food has always been good. The family had ice-cream after which is always good for soft serve. The dining room was clean and pleasant. The rating above is in compared to fast food restaurants.

For frozen treats, even in winter, DQ is always consistent. Since the DQ in Batavia is closing (well, opening under new ownership and new name) this summer, we have to drive ourselves all the way to San Carlos to get some Brazier and Peanut Buster Parfaits!! I've NEVER had the actual burgers and food other than ice cream at DQ, so this summer, I vow to revise this review after some regular chow.

We have always gotten good service when we visit this DQ. We've only eaten their ice cream and not tried there regular food items. We've also only gone through the drive thru, which is relatively quick. So far it's been good deserts at a good price.

By far the worest Dairy Queen I have ever been too! We order a small strawberry sundae only had three strawberries & about a teaspoon of sauce. Did not even offer whipped cream or nut! Also ordered a small cherry dipped cone. The cone was only dipped half way! We will not be returning even though it is convient that they do have a drive thru and never a line which should have been a indication about the quality,

Everyone has some familiarity with Dairy Queen. From their famous Blizzard dessert treats to their ice cream cakes, Dairy Queen is well known for their ice cream related products. But this particular Dairy Queen located off of Main Street in Saint Charles is different than most DQs in the area. Why you might be asking yourself, because this is the only one I'm aware of in the area that has the full food menu. In other metropolitan areas it seems like the majority of Dairy Queen's serve burgers, chicken products and hot dogs. But as far as I'm aware, this is the only one in the Western suburbs that does with just a few others around the city that do as well. In visiting this Dairy Queen I decided if I was going to one that serves burgers and hot dogs, then by jove I was going to try one. I placed my order at the counter and within about 10 minutes my food was brought out to me. Let me go over the burger first, then the hot dog. The burger I received was a fast food style burger. It tasted like it was grilled rather than fried and it had a lot of ketchup and mayo on it. I'd say it's similar to a Whopper or a Checkers champ burger. If I were picking fast food burgers between the major chains, Wendy's, Burger King, McDonalds, Sonic I'd generally eat this Dairy Queen burger over those. Next off was the hot dog, this was a hot dog served on a plain bun. It was a strange colored hot dog with mustard, relish and onions on it. While the hot dog was assembled properly for a minimalist dog. The sausage included is terrible, it tastes like a grocery store generic brand of hot dog. Simply put the hot dog was very lousy and if rating this on the hot dog alone this would have been a one star review. Finally there were fries with my meal. The fries were salty tasting, crispy on the outside long fries. The potato paste filling inside was flavorful but overall they were just too salty for my tastes. So my final verdict on Dairy Queen is that it's unique to find one in the area with the full restaurant menu. The hot dogs are terrible and the burgers are better than other fast food chains. The food preparation was also a bit slow for "fast" food as I mentioned having taken around ten minutes. Overall I'm going to give it two stars. I'd come back again for ice cream and might even try another burger. But avoid that hot dog!

We bring our kids here maybe once per month. Food is usually pretty good for fast food. We decided to order an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday. Everything looked good until we go to sing happy birthday and my daughter sees a giant hair embedded in the icing on top. My wife calls to complain and is told by the person answering the phone "things like that don't bother me." No offer to credit back anything. You know won't bother me any longer? Going to this DQ.

I recently visited this location and had a horrible experience. Order the chicken strips, a Dairy Queen classic, and in return I got barely enough gravy for two strips!! It was also very cold gravy. They also would not give me a large ice water for my pregnant wife without charging 3$.. It would have been cheaper to order a soft drink! I will not be returning to this location unless some action in management is taken. Only reason I give two stars is because of the blizzard...
